Why VOMS Was Created
Volunteer organisations rely on dedicated people who generously give their time to support others.
Managing volunteers, events, rotas, training and expenses can involve considerable administration. VOMS is being developed to bring these activities together into one straightforward system.
Our Mission
Our aim is to provide charities and volunteer organisations with useful management software without expensive licence fees.
We believe smaller organisations should have access to practical tools that help them spend less time on administration and more time supporting their communities.
Free for Charities
VOMS is being prepared for free distribution. Organisations will be able to download and install the software when it is ready for release.
The software itself is intended to be free, although organisations may need to arrange their own hosting and technical support.
Development Progress
VOMS currently includes volunteer management, events, rotas, training records, expenses, reports and a dedicated volunteer portal.
The project is still under development and testing. A public demonstration and downloadable release are planned for the future.
